Centrally located between Jasper and Harrison, AR, Buffalo River Retreat is less than 2 miles on a good dirt road from Scenic 7 South out of Harrison. There is only a couple of turns once you are on the dirt road, with no complicated directions to find it.

The only barely visible "neighbor" is a charming hundred year old school/church which is occasionally used for local events. Besides that, it is totally secluded on 20 private acres. You can relax with the knowledge that you will have your privacy.

With two stories, 2400 sq. ft. of living space and 1200 sq. ft. of upper deck and covered patio, Buffalo River Retreat is perfect for everything from a romantic getaway for two to a corporate retreat, with plenty of room for groups or a family to relax after a great day enjoying the local attractions.

The Retreat is horse friendly and pet friendly, so you can enjoy your stay with your favorite furry friends.

Forget something? No problem. A convenience store, gas station, and several restaurants are an easy drive, mostly on paved road, and are open seven days a week.

Central heat and air conditioning will keep you warm or cool no matter what the weather outside is. The three separate baths, six comfortable beds with 360-400 thread count luxury linens, and a fully equipped kitchen with full sized appliances will provide all you need to enjoy your stay. There is a laundry facility available for longer stays.

Vintage decor with original art creates a down home atmosphere. Most artwork items are for sale, so if you see anything you like, you can purchase it and take it home with you as a reminder of your stay in the Ozarks.

You won't miss your favorite shows or movies either with the satellite TVs, VCRs and DVD players that are provided. There are also books, games and other supplies for indoor activities.

A spring fed all season stream that flows year round meanders past the Retreat, along with a small stocked pond for catch and release fishing. You can see and hear the stream from the Retreat; the soothing sound of the running water is relaxing.

The large yard has plenty of room for outdoor sports, parking your horse trailer or RV, or whatever else you may need to do in a large grassy open area.

This unique property has a location that is perfect for everything from porch sitting, star gazing (bring your telescope, there is no yard light and the poured concrete upper deck is very stable), to exploring to... whatever brings you to this "neck of the woods."
